99% Parliamentary Constituency के votes polled और counted data में mismatch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSJ9jpHRjuU 2024 LS Elections Jun 11, 2024
The 2024 #loksabhaelection2024 data shows discrepancies in almost all PCs. A close data crunching of 543 #parliamentary Constituencies based on the official data released by EC, the #evm votes polled and EVM votes counted data shows that except for a few PCs like #daman & #diu #lakshadweep and Attingal in #kerala in the rest of the PCs, the EVM votes counted are either in deficit or in surplus.
In around 140+ PCs EVM votes counted is in surplus ranging from 2 votes to 3811 votes. While in the other PCs EVM votes counted is in deficit, the highest is -16791.

In 140+ LS Seats, More EVM Votes Were Counted Than EVM Votes Polled. What's Going On?
Poonam Agarwal
Poonam Agarwal in a petition on the 2019 elections, the Election Commission (EC) had rejected all claims of discrepancies found in multiple parliamentary constituencies (PCs) during the 2019 elections, saying the petitioners and the media had considered data on the approximate number of votes polled published on the Election Commission’s App, and that was why their data did not match with the actual number of votes counted.
The 2024 Lok Sabha elections data shows discrepancies in almost all PCs. A close look at EC data from 543 PCs shows that except for a few PCs like Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep and Attingal in Kerala, the number of EVM votes counted differs from that of EVM votes polled.
In spite of this, the BJP lost the very constituency in which the temple is situated. A ground report by my colleague Supriya Sharma found that in Faizabad, many Dalit votes were not based on the Ram temple but on more mundane issues: caste-based reservations and the stray cows that had proliferated because of the laws banning beef. Even though many had voted BJP in the past, the decision was based on another bread-and-butter issue: free rations
A pre-poll survey by the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies-Lokniti thinktank found that only 8% of voters listed the new temple in Ayodhya as their primary issue. What were the top two concerns? Unemployment and inflation. In fact, almost half the respondents listed these as their primary concerns.

Results show how fortunes of the two main alliances, one BJP-led and the other Congress-led, changed as phases went along. https://thewire.in/politics/charting-the-election-2024-how-nda-and-india-performed-over-7-phases
The seven-phase election has been among the longest and the hottest election this country has seen. It has also been a matter of controversy.
Across phases, the fortunes of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and that of the main opposition, Congress-led Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) twisted and turned. NDA took a comprehensive hit in the first and the last phase. INDIA did worse than NDA in four phases. In one phase, the fifth, there was a tie between the two alliances.

https://thewire.in/politics/maharashtra-modi-shah-anti-incumbency-politics
Whatever the nature of the perception games being played by various parties, some truths cannot be wished away in the 2024 elections. There is massive anti-incumbency in many states, purely on account of livelihood issues, unemployment and inflation. In some states, the anti-incumbency is much more widespread than in others. For instance in Maharashtra, the second largest state after UP , with 48 seats, Modi and BJP face the most intense anti-incumbency. Maharashtra could well prove to be the biggest swing state favouring the opposition alliance.
As one travelled through Sholapur, Aurangabad and Nashik districts the sheer anger on the streets was palpable. The largest onion mandi in Asia, Lasalgaon in Nashik district, has a large ecosystem of farmers, traders and other allied economic agents. They are greatly upset that the Centre banned onion exports six months ago and onion prices crashed over 75%, affecting their lives and livelihood.
The BJP seems caught in a perfect storm in Maharashtra even as a general resentment is building up among Maharashtrians over the way the Centre has splintered the politics of the state. There is widespread sympathy for Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar. There is also an underlying resentment over the way economic projects and employment have shifted from Maharashtra to Gujarat.

Indian Electoral Politics: Shifting Sands
Seven decades down the line the electoral scene has changed for the worse and is currently dominated by emotive issues. The foundation of derailing the ‘this worldly’ issues was the Ram Temple movement. This movement became stronger after the implementation of Mandal Commission report. Since then the domination of emotive, identity issues is on the rise. This is reflected by the fact that in 2019, no party dared to utter the word secularism, as claimed by the winner of 2019 elections, Mr. Narendra Modi himself. He presented it as a trophy for the efforts of RSS-BJP’s political success.
https://countercurrents.org/2022/11/indian-electoral-politics-shifting-sands/
It is in this track that any issue can be given a religious turn as we witnessed its peak in the coining of phrase ‘Corona Jihad’. This showed how electoral politics can be reduced merely to game of identity issues. BJP has mastered this art over a period of last few decades. The media, which is prostrating to BJP ideology, is putting its best efforts to magnify the doings of communal stream.
Not to be left behind, Arvind Kejrival is trying to compete which these divisive efforts revolving around identity issues, in his own unique smart ways. The AAP, which in a way, is an alternate model of communal politics; is playing its Hindutva/communal card with shrewdness. Kajriwal party is also an example of blind subservience to the dictator by the other leaders of that party. As Kejriwal demanded this; all his cronies, stated saying the same. The peak of this was Atishi Marlena, who stated that this demand of Laxmi-Ganesh is not merely Kejriwal demand, it is the aspiration of 130 crore Indians! Most of the dictatorial tendencies believe they are speaking for the whole country. This is a duplicate of what Narendra Modi, when he was Chief Minister of Gujarat, used to say that he is talking on behalf of Five Crore Gujratis. India needs a party which can accommodate all sections of society with equality and dignity, apart from welfare; it also promotes employment and proactively deals with marginalized sections of society. We need a party where religion is not mixed with politics. For many, AAP began with a big promise for a better politics, but its reality is there for all to see with its trajectory leading to demanding Laxmi and Ganesh on currency notes and dumping of Jan Lokpal in the dustbin of Hisotry!
