Co-operative Development Foundation (CDF) – Sahavikasa was established in 1975 and marks its 50th anniversary in 2025.
The Sahavikasa co-operative movement is actively functioning in approximately 320 villages across 5 districts of Telangana—Warangal, Hanumakonda, Karimnagar, Siddipet, and Jangaon.
As of March 31, 2025, the movement includes, 344 women’s savings societies, with a membership of 1,56,000 women, collectively managing ₹300 crores in self-owned funds and 241 men’s societies, comprising 1,13,000 members, with ₹270 crores in self-owned funds.
In total, 585 cooperative societies are operating successfully under Sahavikasa, representing 2,69,000 members and managing ₹570 crores of their own funds.
Among 585 cooperative societies, 426 societies have established their own office premises and are independently managing transactions with their members.
