Communalism
https://countercurrents.org/2022/04/hate-and-communal-violence-changing-anatomy/
All around the loud hysteria is raging the streets. This is what prompted the eminent historian Ram Guha to state that we are living in the worst era of Independent India. This is what prompted leaders of 13 opposition parties, including Congress, NCP, TMC, DMK and many others to issue a statement saying, “We are extremely anguished at the manner in which issues related to food, dress. Food, festivals and language are being deliberately used by ruling establishment, to polarize our society. We are extremely concerned with the growing incidents of hate in the country by the people who appear to have official patronage and against whom no meaningful and strong action is taken,”
Even pre Independence when Muslim communalism was also the parallel and opposite of Hindu communalism, the processions in front of mosques were one of the techniques used to instigate violence. Now the celebrations of Hindu festivals and processions have been enhanced to incorporate DJs, loud music and anti-Muslim slogans. These processions have the destination of mosques, where they dance to the loud music and hurl abuses inciting the elements in the minority community. What follows is the process of stone throwing, from which ever quarter they come.

Why the Corporate Czars are Silent over increasing attacks on Social Fabric and rising Communalism ?
https://countercurrents.org/2022/04/silence-of-the-powerful/
Speak No Evil, See No Evil
This silence by the powerful has nothing exceptional about it.
Would it be apt to say that their dictum for these times has become ‘Speak No Evil, See No Evil and Hear No Evil’
Perhaps Rahul Bajaj’s last public appearance can be seen as a classic example wherein he had asked few tough questions to Amit Shah about mass lynching, glorification of Gandhi’s assassins or the atmosphere of fear in the industry, which was followed by complete silence from Indian Corporate world’s Who’s Who – who had gathered there – as if what the late Bajaj was talking was tale from another planet. Forget larger constitutional issues or social problems, this docility / passivity of these corporate leaders extends to their own personal matters as well.

“The victims of the Delhi pogrom never got justice, not enough compensation, and no psychiatric help; these children need that kind of help; the mental impact on them is enormous,” Mujtaba told Maktoob.
According to Najiz – the compensation given by the Delhi government is not enough.
“Do you believe ten lakh rupees is sufficient? Will it be enough to feed my children indefinitely? I am not even educated enough to work; who will take care of my children?” said Najiz.
She blamed the Union government for the Delhi pogrom, claiming that if the government had acted the day the violence broke out, many people would still be alive.
“This was all done by the government; they have a hand in all of this; why didn’t they take action? The riots would have stopped in an hour, so why didn’t the government do anything for four days?” Najiz raged.
Asad and Ayaan, like many other Delhi pogrom-hit children, will never be the same, their childhood will never be the same, and the mental impact of the anti-Muslim violence will linger like a wound for the rest of their lives.

250200-Rane
Rane’s speeches continued throughout the month of February, spreading more hateful conspiracy theories, and even suggesting that if Muslims “looked at Hindus in an incorrect manner,” they would face consequences. He stated that, “Our government is very bad. What is going on around I am aware of everything. You don’t have to struggle. Wherever something wrong is happening, wherever someone tries to slaughter a cow, wherever someone tries to smuggle, wherever green snakes try to wriggle, just make one call, and leave the rest of the arrangements to me., https://cjp.org.in/the-role-of-leaders-in-spreading-divisive-rhetoric/
