From Asish Gupta: by email: It appears that as of today - in the online edition (have scanned epapers
for Delhi and Mumbai) as well the CCFI advertorial is withdrawn. However
they have carried the apology which is still online. -

I only heard about this issue today, imaginably a number of us may not even
know who all - in addition to Kavitha were slandered against in this
demeaning way!

While this is totally unacceptable but not surprising, rather than engage
in a positive public discussion on the issue of toxicology and the future
way forward (are they really imagining an India, 50 years from now we
will still be consuming pesticide laced food?), if slander is the way CCFI
is using then it is highly condemnable.

For records, I will request, if anyone has the e-copy of that advertorial,
can that be please sent it across for future reference and recall?

One may even consider putting both - the advertorial and this apology out
in the public domain for the future to see what all was undergone to make
India poison free!!
