Housing Apartheid Reaches Rajasthan: Landlord’s Home Bulldozed After Tenant’s Son’s Mistake Is Given a Communal Color https://enewsroom.in/bulldozer-justice-in-rajasthan-udaipur-school-children-stabbing/
In Udaipur, tragic school stabbing sparks riots, arson and controversial demolition of innocent landlord's home
There’s a legal process for everything. It would have been better if due procedure was followed. “This is a dictatorship. Instead of investigating the issue, they saw the person was Muslim and demolished his home. The house didn’t even belong to the accused or his father. Even if it was encroachment, proper procedures should have been followed. Punitive demolitions, whether by any state government, are unlawful in India. Holding a father accountable for his son’s crime is against the law. The administration violated legal norms, which is why they’re avoiding questions,”

But over the past decade, Germany has faced a rising wave of far-right violence. “Germany’s Enemy Within” probes extremist attacks and plots, from an attempted massacre of worshippers at a synagogue on Yom Kippur, to a mass shooting targeting Muslims, to the assassination of a pro-refugee politician, to an alleged plot to violently overthrow the German government.
if the AfD were to win power in the German state of Thuringia, it would be the first time a far-right party has controlled a German state since the Nazis.

J-Schools Closing: A Sign Of The Times, But What Is The Signal? https://enewsroom.in/iijnm-shuts-down-media-graduates-journalism-school/
https://www.navjivanindia.com/india/ram-puniyanis-article-rsss-election-strategies-after-lok-sabha-elections-2024 The RSS feels that the main reason for the BJP's fall in seats in the elections is the shift of Dalit votes towards the India alliance. VHP is being activated to deal with this. Its workers will hold meetings in Dalit bastis and have meals with Dalits. To woo Dalits, seers and seers associated with the VHP will organise religious programmes in their settlements. According to The Hindu, "These religious leaders will undertake padayatras in designated places, hold satsangs and dharma samsads, visit homes of Dalits and have meals with them. The programmes will be carried out in 9,000 units of the VHP. " Trained RSS pracharaks are all around. Through media and social media, they are promoting regressive values. The rot has reached very deep. Defeating the BJP in elections is the first step towards eradicating this rot. Then, we have to promote a social mindset based on the values of our freedom movement. Whether it is history, science or the judicial system, we have to uproot the poisonous plants sown by communal ideology.
Re-conceptualizing climate maladaptation: Complementing social-ecological interactions with relational socionatures https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0959378024001146 Sameer H. Shah, Leila M. Harris, K.J. Joy , Trevor Birkenholtz & Idowu Ajibade A case of the Government of Maharashtra’s (India) Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan, a program aimed at increasing water conservation to “free” 20,000 villages from drought impacts. India demonstrates the necessity of relational approaches.
A relational ontology considers how “matter,” “discourse,” and “society” co-produce one another to such an extent that any separation between them is impossible . These co-constitutions produce provisional socionatural assemblages or formations, which themselves have meaning.. The relations between facts, technologies, and scientific data are assembled into discourses, which have agency and meaning by virtue of their capacities to secure climate financing

टेलीग्राम के CEO की गिरफ़्तारी, क्या बंद हो जाएगी कंपनी
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyHelpl5_TA Aug 28, 2024
How Telegram’s Founder Went From Russia’s Mark Zuckerberg to Wanted Man https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/26/technology/pavel-durov-telegram-founder.html Mr. Durov’s anti-establishment streak appears to have gotten him into a fresh round of trouble with the authorities. On Saturday, he was arrested in France as part of an investigation into criminal activity on Telegram, the online communications tool he founded in 2013, which had grown into a global platform defined by its hands-off approach to policing how users behaved.

The National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal of the Government of India recognises new-age crimes such as cyberbullying, stalking, email hacking etc. Yet, the BNS does not address these aspects.
It is important that the effort and energies of the forest department are devoted more towards the pressing challenges and threats to India's biodiversity rather than to arbitrarily and illegally acting against wildlife researchers. https://thewire.in/environment/of-red-carpets-and-green-tape
Across India, wildlife researchers today are being harassed by forest officers for not taking prior permission for photographing and conducting research on wildlife.
At a recent conference in Bengaluru – the Indian Wildlife Ecology Conference 2024 – one common concern among wildlife researchers was the bureaucratic red-tapeism (or more appropriately, ‘green-tapeism’) that leads to severe delays and restrictions in undertaking research on wildlife.
In a country where wildlife researchers are a rarity and funding for research miniscule, scared and traumatised researchers run pillar to post to secure research permits. For them, it is not the tiger that rules the jungle, but the ‘permit raj’ of the forest department, which is the law of the jungle.
