How a US-Based PR Firm Is Profiling Activists, Scientists Opposing Pesticides and GMO
Sarasvati Thuppadolla, Margot Gibbs and Elena DeBre https://thewire.in/agriculture/how-a-us-based-pr-firm-is-profiling-activists-scientists-opposing-pesticides-and-gmo The firm spearheading this work is Missouri-based v-Fluence Interactive, founded and run by a former Monsanto executive, Jay Byrne, who previously worked as a communications executive at the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Since its creation in 2001, v-Fluence has provided a range of services including “in depth research, ongoing intelligence gathering, proprietary data-mining and analytics” to the global agrochemical and biotechnology industry.
v-Fluence also has links to corporate pesticide giants such as Syngenta which is currently facing a lawsuit in the US, with Byrne and v-Fluence as co-defendants. The lawsuit was filed by farmers with Parkinson’s disease who have alleged that their illness was caused by the company’s paraquat herbicide. They accuse Syngenta and v-Fluence of suppressing negative information on the dangers of paraquat, working to “neutralise” those who criticise it, and investigating the social media pages of people who reported injuries to Syngenta’s crisis hotline.
This Impending Disaster Can KILL 35 Lakh People | Mullaperiyar Dam Danger https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQHPPdp0Cjg
Gaurav Thakur Sep 5, 2024 A major disaster could hit India, but we can prevent it. The 123-year-old Mullaperiyar Dam, located between Tamil Nadu and Kerala, is at risk of collapsing. If it bursts, it could flood five districts, affecting 3.5 million people. The dam, built in 1895, has shown cracks and leaks for decades, and experts, including the UN, IIT Roorkee, and Kerala's disaster management, recommend replacing it. If the dam fails, it could trigger a domino effect, breaking three nearby dams, including Asia's largest, Idukki Dam. But, despite the danger, Kerala and Tamil Nadu government are doing Blame Game Politics.
How The Adani Fraud Actually Works (Allegedly) How The Adani Fraud Actually Works (Allegedly)
How Money Works Feb 17, 2023 From Description to YT:
Hindenburg research is an investment research firm which specialises in short selling using a very simple four step process.
Step 1, find a company with something going wrong that isn’t yet public knowledge, like a serious fault in their growth model, a significant market threat, or just plain old systemic fraud, as is the case with this Adani situation.
Step 2, short the companies stock.
Step 3, make a public announcement in the firm of a research paper accompanied by a big marketing campaign to expose the problems with the company so that other investors also short sell the business which will push the price down.
Step 4, exit the short positions at the new low price with a healthy profit.

Moneylife Digital Team 20 June 2023
In an order issued last week, Dr Ashwini Patil, deputy commissioner of police (headquarter), says, "It is observed that the duty officers are unnecessarily arguing with citizens who are doing video recording inside police stations and registering a complaint against them. A police station is a public place, and you are directed not to prohibit citizens from video recording inside the police station."
“The HC had clarified that 'prohibited place' as defined in section 2(8) of the official secrets act, does not cover police station and hence no case can be registered against a citizen for recording inside the police station,” Dr Patil stated.

#DelhiRiotsLargerConspiracyCase: ... Bail petitions have been pending for more than 2 years, arguments heard at least 3-4 times, and yet, Judges unwilling to pass orders. It is nothing less than a scandal. ...this is definitely NOT routine. First Bench reserved orders for more than 6 months and yet failed to pass them. Second Bench, despite being told to reserve orders, chose not to do so. This is absolutely abnormal. The other possibility, of course, is if the Judges themselves are self-censoring and kowtowing with the govt for Chief Justiceship and possible elevation to Supreme Court. Either way, this case is a stain on the Delhi High Court. One must also ask that if the senior Judge on the bench is doing this, is the junior judge supposed to sit like a lame-duck? Can the junior judge not put their foot down and say “I will write an order if you don’t”? Is every junior judge of all the benches that have so far heard these bail pleas not with a spine?
Delhi riots cases: Judges’ new postings mean bail pleas to be heard afresh, third time https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/delhi/delhi-riots-cases-judges-new-postings-mean-bail-pleas-to-be-heard-afresh-third-time-9588269/
Filed separately beginning March 2022, the bail pleas of Abdul Khalid Saifi, Gulfisha Fatima, Md Saleem Khan and Shifa Ur Rehman have been argued fully by their lawyers twice before two different benches. With both the benches, the presiding Judge was appointed as Chief Justice of another HC, and no verdict was delivered.
With Justice Suresh Kumar Kait, who headed the bench that last heard the case, taking oath as Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh HC on Wednesday, the case will have to be heard de novo (from the beginning) before a new bench.
In April 2022, a bench comprising Justices Siddharth Mridul and Rajnish Bhatnagar began hearing the bail pleas. The bench reserved its order in all four cases — for Saifi on January 5, 2023; for Fatima on February 13, 2023; and for Khan and Rehman on March 6, 2023. The bail pleas of two other accused, Athar Khan and Shadab Ahmad, were also heard at length. While both sides completed their arguments, the accused were to submit a rejoinder to rebut the prosecution’s arguments.

Natural Capitalism, the seminal work by Paul Hawken, Amory Lovins, and Hunter Lovins. https://www.fastcompany.com/1414589/natural-capitalism
The book describes the four principles to natural capitalism:
Resource productivity – using resources more efficiently
Biomimicry – redesigning industrial systems along biological line
Service and flow economy – aligning incentives between business and consumers
Restoring or re-investing in stocks of natural capital
https://youtu.be/Cq7Yn5pUJ3A Natural Capitalism: a way of doing business that recognizes the market value of natural and human resources and life-supporting ecological services. In a nutshell, natural capitalism means taking good care of the goose that lays the golden egg: what nature provides for your business should be on your balance sheet.

A key element of this theory was the idea that the economy was shifting from an emphasis on human productivity to a radical increase
in resource productivity.
