Response: Umakanta Singh: Economic impacts are always multidirectional and very difficult for general public to understand. That is what Government and Opposition both are spreading lies to the public. In an emerging economic it is obvious that inequality of income happens, but it is purely due to the current phase. This phase Chine recovers very quickly because it grew at a very fast pace @10% to 12% where as being a democracy and red tape-ism India can afford to grow at a moderate pace. There are 2 aspects of this whole discussion - 1 - pure economic rules which is more or less depends upon the Govt. policies and 2. human aspects which is largely utilized to access political gains. At present what economic policy the current regime has adopted one should not believe that there would be drastic change if the opposition would have been in the power. So, follow the news, but apply your own analytical power to conclude on your own.
