I fear that in the name of anti-dynasty, we are moving to one dominant leader type set-ups. Unlife the old Congress style where the Gandhis (except of course Indira) was only a cementing force between a wide range of groupings, leaders etc. This therefor ensured the coalition character of the ruling dispensation. Since the Gandhi did not have any specific base it had to always re-invent it mobilisation using slogans as well as caste-religion combinations. You will notice that the smaller parties started with getting more than their vote share, but now they are worried that they have been gobbled up by the camel who entered through the needle of two votes!
