How Hitler Used Attack on Parliament to become Supreme Leader of Germany | Akash Banerjee The Deshbhakt
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVcZqpEqaFY On February 27, 1933 a portion of the German parliament “Reichstag” went up in flames... it was seen as an attack on the very heart of Germany and Hitler used this one incident to cement his ABSOLUTE control over Germany. If there is one date that can be pinned when Democracy died in Germany - it was the day that the Parliament was attacked and the events that unfolded after it.
Moral of the story - Democracies are fragile - determined people while the right skills can undo it - with remarkable ease and in no time.
Have we learnt any lessons from history? Or are we destined to repeat it?
