Amar Kadam, a polling agent from Wardha Parliamentary Constituency, told ExplainX that many polling agents are not aware of Form 17C and its importance. He said generally agents note down with pen and paper the number of votes polled at his polling booth because they don't know that they can get copy of Form 17C signed by the Presiding Officer which specifies number of votes polled and also mentions the serial numbers of ballot Unit, VVPAT and Control Unit.
