High Court reprimanded Sidhi Police, case of teacher being forced to join RSS From WA: RT
Jabalpur. While hearing a PIL filed by a Scheduled Caste teacher of Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh High Court has given a new order. The High Court said that if the teacher wants, he can file a complaint under the Atrocity Act against the Superintendent of Police of Sidhi district and the Station In-charge of Majhgawan police station. The teacher has alleged through Janhit Yatra that he was being forcibly inducted into the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and when he refused, he was beaten up and even fired from his job.
Sidhi's urine scandal
A year ago, a Bharatiya Janata Party leader had urinated on a tribal in Sidhi. This matter had just calmed down when another case has come to light. In which a hearing was held in the Madhya Pradesh High Court through a PIL. Scheduled Caste teachers work as guest in the government college of Sidhi district. They teach commerce subject here. He has alleged that Madhya Pradesh police is not able to protect the rights of the people of scheduled caste and tribe and they are not getting justice.
Teacher harassed to join RSS
He said that "Recently he was beaten up in the college. About 18 people forced him to join RSS. When he refused, he was forcibly locked in the toilet and beaten up. The teacher says that he is a follower of Buddhism and believes in the philosophy of Buddhism. Therefore, he is not bound to follow the rules and regulations of Hinduism.
Police did not help the teacher
He also complained about the incident to the local police station, but the police did not help him and did not take any action against the accused. On December 9, when he filed a PIL on this issue, the college principal terminated him. In his termination order, it has been mentioned that the teacher does not participate in religious programs, so he is being removed from the job.
Orders for action against Sidhi SP and TI
Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Suresh Kumar Kaith heard the case and assured that the laws made to protect the rights of Scheduled Castes and Tribes were sufficient, because you have to take action against them. You have not got justice. Therefore, you can file a complaint against the SP of Sidhi district and the station in-charge of Majhgawan police station under section 4 of the Atrocity Act. Along with this, orders have been given to take legal action against those who have misbehaved with you.
