Joshimath is Sinking: People gathered at night in front of the buildings, not ready to vacate their houses   दरकती इमारतों के सामने रात को जुटे लोग , घर खाली करने को तैयार नहीं https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bWnyoHd__g  Ajit Anjum Joshimath के 678 मकानों को खतरनाक घोषित करने के बाद सरकार ने 87 घरों को खाली तो करा लिया है लेकिन आज अचानक सैकड़ों लोग घर खाली करने के सरकारी आदेश के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन और नारेबाजी करने आ जुटे हैं . लोगों का कहना है कि बिना मुआवजे के और बिना किसी सेटलमेंट के वो वहां से नहीं जा सकते क्योंकि उनके घर उनके जाते ही गिरा दिए जाएंगे . लोगों का कहना है कि उन्हें बद्रीनाथ की तर्ज पर मुआवजा दिया जाए .

Cracks have developed in at least 570 houses in Uttarakhand's Joshimath as a result of continued land subsidence. In one decade our engineers are blasting the mountains and cutting large old growth trees erasing centuries worth of cultural and ecological history.  What we have achieved is amazing isn't it? Shrewd greedy politicians and their chamchas making loads of money in the name of these projects!
